I speak Korean at home, but I'm not completely fluent so I'm kind of scared that I will end up with a bad score and since it's only offered in November and I'll be a senior by then, it'll be my only chance to take the test.
Also, how did you guys prep for this exam?

i missed it last year and im taking it this november too
theres no way ull get under 770 if you speak krn at home frequently, i heard, but anything under 800 is like 'disgrace' cuz even 800 is like 60th percentile i think

i got a nice huge krn sat2 practice test book

Umm... 800 probably isn't 60th percentile.
Lots of people who take the test are FOB Koreans or fluent,
so I'd think the curve is LESS generous than anything.
But that's just my opinion, I could be totally wrong.
I took it last year...
But I wouldn't recommend taking it unless you are fluent.
I came here from Korea when I was 8, and some of the grammar was still tricky.
If you're still going to take it, get a review book and do all the practice tests.
Mine had like 17 tests or something. I finished the book and got an 800~

i'm fluent and i got 800 on it but i studied quite a bit a week before the test. loads and loads of practice tests and listening sessions, because it's easy to make a small mistake which will throw you off from the 800 which is already like 65% percentile =0=;; just study and don't underestimate it and you'll be fine.

so yeah, practice! some of the things on the test can confuse people (even those who speak fluent korean), and make sure to pay attention on the listening section ^^ don't space out.

I thought fobs from Korea can't take the SAT II in Korean. This girl from my church says she's not allowed to take it. But that makes sense though.
hahahahahahaha. trust me. ur allowed to take it. and to quote chibifry: "Don't listen to her anymore lol" minus the lol.
trust...is it important to you?

how can 800 be in the 60th percentile if 800 is the highest score you can get?

percentile is like this. when you are placed in the 60th percentile, that means you did better than 60% of the test takers which means 40% scored as well as you did which means 40% of the test takers got 800.

because a large number of kids (40%) get 800s. so therefore, since even if you get an 800, you only performed better than 60% of all other krn sat2 test takers, an 800 can be in teh 60% percentile
percentile means the percent of kids you performed better than lol

but tis pretty low
i think it consists of like grammer stuff but i dunno
its probably not worth taking if u dont get an 800 cuz then ull be like in a really low percentile
