Pretty much what it is is that during your junior and senior years, you can go to a community college and take courses there without paying tuition and get high school and college credit at the same time.

So anyone else do Dual Enrollment? And what are you taking? And do you like it? I personally really like it...way better than going to my high school anyway. At first it was kinda weird having class with twenty something year olds, but I got used it. The people are interesting.

Ohhh and I'm hoping to graduate my senior year with an AA degree. Does anyone know if colleges are really that impressed by that? I've heard that most colleges (those that accept Dual Enrollment) don't actually care if you're a senior with an AA...I don't know if I'm just wasting time or what...I'm taking 17 credits right now and it's killing me.

ummm i think its better to just do HS get good grades then get into a good school that way
and i didn't know u can get credit for HS and college at the same time...maybe in other states but i dont think u can in CA
but ok...if u do get an AA but ur GPA is like 3.0 or loser or something i think colleges will probably not be impressed
id stick to getting good grades in HS and just getting into a good college get ur BA/BS or watever and so on

i did govt and eco for my dual credit stuff. it was easy, i only had to go to each class twice a week so i was off on fridays, and the class was also weighted. oh yea and no hmwk.
