hi! i'm just curious....well, since my computer is so damn slow whenever i use MU....is there any other way to make MU go fast? sometimes it so slow like 0.01kbps!!! so, i'm just wondering is there any way to make it fast?

but when I use Mozilla Firefox, MU downloads very fast.

Same (as I use FF as well). Using a download manager won't help much (at least it isn't suppose to). I can usually do at least 30 all the way up to Max Speed. Haven't really used IE for any downloading ever since FF so I can't say it's IE's fault. Most likely it has to do with where you live and how many users are using it.

Downloaded at least a couple of GBs within the last couple of days off of MU.

o FF is j a browser but it has its own dl manager.

It goes faster for me too ^^

Firefox is a browser...
Some people make megaupload count down, then start the downlod with flashget. Pause it, then count down the next file to get... add it to the list start the download, pause and repeat for the rest of the files

That way you can just let it sit and download one after another...

But faster? T_T I wish you could tell me!

you could try some of the mentioned download managers, or maybe you simply have a poor connection to the MU servers... whereabouts are you? i'd say do a traceroute to see if that's the problem, but that still might not tell you anything about how you connect to their servers

goofyditz: damn, 13.45 MB/s is pretty fast. i stop keeping up with technology for a year and internet speeds quadruple

the thing that really bother me is that i'm not using dial-up..i'm using broadband..i don't know why sometimes it ok, sometimes not...

^umm I get what the person is saying but I don't get how it works.. he/she is saying when you download the file, unzip the file and there should be two internet links.. drag the Megaupload one into the Favourites column when you open up internet explorer.. but I have no idea how it works?

i cant use download managers since it just turns into a html file and such.
Basically i get lucky and end up downloading at 1-300 kbs.
but at times its 30kbs.

FF does't help you to dl faster ,
first , it depends on your connection .
2nd , you need a premium account (Highest Download speed priority)
3 , use a download manager

use DAP, more easy and more faster. "download accelator process". this is what i use and i dont have problem so far.

Wouldn't FF possibly have some affect since it has different settings than IE (prefetch, connections per serv, or something else) -- I'm not exactly sure if any affect it but I suppose difference in settings could lead to better speeds (like when you adjust TCP/IP settings).
