3. Register at collegeboard.com and see what you can do.
4. It does, but it's not the best. Your best bet is to take graphic design
at a good design school; and if you're looking at the city, there's plenty of good schools for that.
5. SATs are Scholastic Aptitude Tests which are basically standardized tests. They're used by colleges/universities to help them select incoming freshmen. It's basically a test that covers math, writing, and english. There are also SAT2s which cover specific subjects as well. It's pretty essential/necessary if you want to apply to school in America.

^^^ she did a good job above. What scores do you need? that varies, how much butter do you need a for a cake?? the answe is different for everybody. It could be based on other grades, economic level, your race, etc. But obviously the higher the better.

look at the pinned "your chances at your school" thread to get a feel for what SAT scores/GPA NYU would expect.

1. Only private universities look at your 9th grade report cards but public universities look at grade from 10th-12th.
2. i'm not sure wat score you're asking but i'm assuming it's the SAT's. The average EXPECTED score you should get out of 2400 is 2000.
