I really want to volunteer abroad this summer but can't find a program that is not too expensive and is fun and safe. It's doesn't even have to do with volunteering as long as I get to travel somewere. I've been researching but most of the programs are too espensive. My budget is $2k and I can't stay more than 3 weeks. I really want to go to Korea but anywhere in East Asia is fine. The only languages I know are English and Vietnamese. I'm only a junior in high school and hopes that doing something like this would look awesome on my resume! = D

Any suggestions guys?

Try Cross-Cultural Solutions...their programs seem very safe and the people who called me were really nice.

2 weeks costs about $2400 I believe.

The only problem is if you are 16-17 there are only a few countries you can volunteer in..check out their website for more information

how abt the peace corps? you have to be 18 though.
