Where can I go to look for a job? Basically, a website would be good.

I'm still in high school and I need some money. Something that might look good on my college apps would be great too. My summer is almost filled though, so I have no idea where I'm going to earn the money. I'm planning on taking SAT classes, volunteering at the hospital and library, and taking part in a weekly school activity.
The only thing that worries me is that all my friends went on missions or out of country, and my mom keeps telling me how good and impressive that looks. So now, she's urging me to volunteer and get a job to make up for my losses.

Can anyone recommend anything? And is it true that colleges are impressed when you go out of your country and travel to a different one?

best bet for high school students is your high school's career center. see if they have job posting in there. those career job sites don't really cater to students still in high school...

you can probably try retail like your mall, clothes stores, supermarket, best buy, virgin, etc..

I think so but it depends on what you're doing. Missons, volunteering, language intensive studies, cultural studies = yes, lounging around and doing nothing = no.
