well look heres the story im thinking about upgrading my comp for all the next gen games ive seen in E3 such as F.E.A.R,Unreal Tournament 2007 and such, but i dunno if its worth it to buy it because my friend keeps on saying the price will drop down for the parts i want and that better things are gonna come out but im a little low on cash Maximum of money i can use is 800$ could any one tell me what i should do? thanks biggrin.gif

Spending over a thousand dollars to play a handful of games (Typically not worth it) is your decision. I use my system for more than gaming, but it's not always worth it.

LIKE OMG WOW IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER ON PC THAN XBOX.

Sigged for life.

^ lol what happened to the days when nothing made sense... like in mario?

hardware technology is moving too fast imo... i'd say wait - why buy the best tech now for next year's games when you can buy it them next year when you actually need them?

You might want to hold off until DirectX 10 becomes standarized

yeh wait till DX10, but fps games are lame in single player and a lot of today's mp fps games suck. bf2 and cs are pretty much the only worthwhile online fps games, just my opinion though.

ur gonna pretty much need a new pc for next gen, upgrading will be hard on ur current system. i recommend for next-gen, 2gb ram minimum, a dx10 card, conroe compatible mobo, conroe cpu, not sure on the psu, but u might need more.
