okay, this is going to sound really stupid... but do i have to send a notice to my other colleges that i'm not going to attend there even if the may 1st deadline has passed? i mean, if i haven't responded back before may 1st, they're going to cancel my admittance anyways right?

i didn't tell any of my colleges that i didn't plan to attend so i don't think it's necessary. i think they already figure that you're not going if you don't put down a deposit.
