Probably a corrupted DLL file, just reinstall it and it should bring it back to life.

I had that problems once after uninstalling PS and re-installed it again. I'm not sure..but my was because my hard drive is almost full...I deleted many things, re-installed again and it worked for me...Too much stuff take too much space on the harddrive and everything kept slowing down and not even worked.

I'm not sure if the case is also so for you...sorry not much help for you.
***

let me go and try to find out why....maybe not much help..but i'll try..

^^ Try what they said...and maybe change the location of your PS & deleted some stuff if you have too many stuff and oly a few Gb left..

That primary scratch thing is basically where adobe can store the files temporarily. You know like so you can use your undo and stuff. It should be fine, they say that because some people have really slow drives or dont have much space left.

^ I understand that now but whenever I try to access PS this message pops up:

The procedure entry point InitialzePIExpressDialogs could not be located in the dynamic link library PLUGIN.dll.

I've installed, uninstalled, installed, uninstalled like 4 times already.
I've deleted some old files.

>_<;;

Everytime I reinstall it the scratch volume message pops up first and I try to go to edit > pref, etc. but it won't let me. Then after I close it, the "The procedure entry point InitialzePIExpressDialogs could not be located in the dynamic link library PLUGIN.dll." message pops up.

Ergh.

Some help would be GREATLY appreciated.

is this a retail, store bought version of photoshop or you downloaded it some where? if it's a downloaded version, i think you have to copy all the files in the " CRACK " folder into the actual program file folder for photoshop to override it.

check with your friend if this copy of photoshop is store bought or he just downloaded somewhere and burned it for you.

if it's downloaded (usually it's a zip file). once you unzip, there are several folders containing different contents. your set up .exe files, read me files and others. there should be a folder named CRACK, you want to copy everything in that folder to your C://PROGRAM FILES/ ADOBE PHOTOSHOP by holding down CTRL then drag it).

^ Oh, then it's not a copy of a download. Because I got to the official set up and everything.
