measuring rim size???

this may seem like a silly question...but when measuring rims...you measure from one side of the rim to the other...basically the diameter, right????

i'm just double-checking b/c all this time i was informed i have 17", but when i measured it, it looks to be 18"...hmmm...

Yep. You measure the Diameter. One side to the other.

the people at discount tire explained it more clearly...

don't measure just from one side to the other...you have to minus the lip part when measuring?

something like that...& yeah, they 17"...

btw, i just got my new wheels installed!! i'll post pics soon! happy.gif

finally...my baby benzo got her new kicks...19" amg replicas!

Err... one way to see the rim size is look at the tires!

225/18/45 <- for example.

LOL I think that is the size of my tires after I get my rims in.

smoother...only when turning sharp corners is the handling a bit stiffer...

otherwise, no problems...no difference.
