I'm going to Korea tomorrow, and I don't know why but I waited until now to even think about the outlet differences. If I want to take my laptop and my straightening iron, what kind of converter would I need to take? I've been doing some research on the net and I just can't understand the "watt" and "voltage" lingo.

Would either of these be ok?

actually those all seem pretty expensive compared to what you'll need... all you need is a 220v converter... usually they're really small... just look for 110 to 220 converter and you'll be fine i think. they have them in korea too so don't worry too much.
