mm. recently, i was gonna get a new digi cam..
but decided to get a new camcorder instead..
and i was hoping you guys could help me out...
i want a small, compact yet good qualitied camcorder...
nothing too technical.. but still has a decent amount of options.
should i be looking into canon? cus i know canon makes the best cameras..
but i wasn't sure if that goes for camcorders as well??
or maybe sony? panasonic??
price doesn't really matter.. as long as it's under like.. 600-700 then i should be fine..
i was on amazon looking and i found some that looked appealing for like 200-300??
just and insightful info would be gratefully appreciated.
thanks in advance!

My dad just bought a sony camcorder, I don't know what it's called exactly, if you PM me I can ask him. I think it was 300-400? You don't need a camcorder that's over 500 dollars in my opinion.
Don't buy ones with built in hard drives or ones that you record onto blank dvds, you can only get like 15 minutes on those. Just get one that records directly onto a tape (it's still digital, you hook it up to your computer)
Try not to get a samsung, samsung's camcorders aren't very good.
If you're going to buy it online, you should check it out in store first.
