hooray for me!! i finally got a digital camera and now im able to take picture of my car with new wheels...thier TSW's Norago...i got em on maybe 2 weeks now...18" was the biggest i could go without any complications and i was fine with it...now i need to get some new brakes and cap (youll see how rusty they look) and i wanna drop it about 1.25" front and back, there is a really big gap in the front...it really changes the look of the car...let me know what ya think...(uh, dont pay attention to my mom in her moomoo in one of the picture... unsure.gif )

Not a fan, i think it makes it look kind of cheap. The rims dont fit the car, but hey whatever floats your boat

IS300, IS350, Lexus SC300 aka Soarer, THERE are some sporty lexus's.

However, my fav is the SC300. Oldschool mmhm!

LOL funny. Nice dog, is it yours?

Have fun with your car. My brakes looked worse than yours with the rust and all. wink.gif

to me.. i think the two tone paint job makes the rims look weird. (maybe the stock height too)

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

it looks so empty now, the drop might help.

Get some more "filling" rims if you can

yea that my dog, its a dachshund, his name is Pickles...

ah kinda mix reaction on the wheels on here...i posted it at clublexus also and they all seem to like it...

i plan on getting new struts, springs, brakes and caps in a couple of weeks...i dont plan on doing much to it afterwards, maybe a tint, a small spoiler and new paint...

i have about 90,000 miles on the engine, but the car will read 130,000...i had a new engine and tranny put in about 3 years ago...

here are some pictures of that...
tranny with my old Cressida in the background, god i loved that car...

Well in my opinion I think that this style of rim doesn't seem to fit this car. It might look better on a sporty car like a Prelude or a Supra. I think rims that might be more curvy would match better. Something that flares out towards the lip or the other way around.

It looks like you're having fun with it so it doesn't matter. Perhaps if you drop it a little it might look better.

to me getting some chromed fulled rim would be kinda redundant and that would be "ghetto fab"...i dont think theres anything wrong with it looking a bit sporty, but cuz quite frankly, its for the looks...i know its a luxury car and im not gunna go race RX7s and Supras or race at all, and if thier gunna try to race me becuz i got sporty wheel then thier idiots to begin with...but i liked how it looked and its different...the ES300 may not be Lexus' top of the line, and there really isnt much for aftermarket so you dont really see too many of them customized...i guess thats why those in the clublexus forum likes the look more than those here...becuz its a niche community...

but like anything else its personal preference...and i like it.

i could go VIP right? haha...altho i agree, a drop is definatly needed. cool.gif
