So, the new Nintendo Wii is coming out and the PS3 too. I know a lot of people are excited for this, but do you miss anything from the old days? The technology itself is pretty awesome. The Wii controler looks pretty freakin awesome, but the games themselves are something else. Mario Galaxy looks really exciting, but I myself prefer old school mario in terms of games. I really dislike the 3-D animation used for games nowadays. It's a little rough and only looks really really cool for cinematics.

So in short what I'm trying to say is: Yay for Nintendo Wii and other next gen stuff, but I miss all the old stuff too.

i loved my old SNES and my 2D games. there was some ghetto "3D" games that were pretty cool too though.

well, you can always get your old school fix from the wii since you can download the old nintendo and sega games on it.

Nintendo wii looks so cool @_@ and it looks like you get a semi workout from it too, which is a bonus.

I always love the 2-D stuff over the 3-D. Man oh man I miss them T__T! I love innovation and how technology makes everything super better, but I want the soul of it too.

I can say the same for the PC. I would take the DOS over a Window XP PC anyday (maybe not.. because of school). But old school games like Number Munchers, Alice in Wonderland, Oregon Trail was always fun! Of course you play them now and it's "not as fun as before =[".

BUT with the new technology of course you can get both so it'd take both =]. Just as long as I have fun playing that's bascially my preference.
