Just wondering if anyone knew the ranking of the Top 10 Colleges in the U.S.

i think i know California has a lot of the top 10 ranked colleges i'm pretty sure UC Berkley, San Diego, LA,

^ Yeah, there's really no great way to determine what makes a certain colleges a top college

yay for #40 university, #10 public university!
It's interesting because Californians are always under the impression that the lower-tiered UCs are HORRIBLE, but they're all in the top 100 (minus Merced of course)

Cali and Mass both own in good schools. i freaking live withing a 5 mile radius of quite a few of them, namely harvard, MIT, BU, BC, northeastern, and tufts. xD

rankings really depend on the criteria each report uses...

true and i notice that the focus of the report is on universities [or colleges that function as universities]. I wonder what the "rankings" are if they had included colleges along with universities.

^ Yeah, they have separate rankings for LACs... Williams, Amherst, and Swarthmore are always top 3..

whee. ranked 30th in the nation.... of course it's probably closer to 50th if you count the liberal arts schools, but oh well. ranking isn't everything.

Yaaaa UCSC 68... but 28 on the public school ranking... bwhahah we winsss banana slugs for lifeeeeee any college on that list has to be pretty decent... I mean it's like theres lots of other colleges... many hundreds not on that list at all..
