It's this Taiwanese hip pop group. They made a song called Jump Work it with missy elliot in 2003. Are they new?

I liked a few songs off that first album, but I got sick of their songs fairly quickly.

i just hate it when they use taiwanese (hokkien or hakka or wateva wierd dialect their using .) bcoz i cant understand it..

and it sounds like crap... stick to mando and i thnk more ppls would like dem!!! heahaehea

but one guy in machi (nicky lee) is actually a korean..

^ Erm. They're Taiwanese (minus Nicky of course) and they release albums in Taiwan. I don't think they should have to stick to Mandarin to gain a fanbase

Machi's ok; their songs start having the same flavor after a bit.

But I have to say, I <3 Nicky Lee's awesome R/B voice.

They got a new girl member right?

I like Machi, I can't seem to find any of their songs though...they were on this episode of 'Jacky show go go go' I watched : D

^ I watched that ^^ Nicky Lee is so funny! he acts so Korean (obviously!) Im not a huge fan of them but I do like their songs ^^

btw I had no idea they made a song with Missy Elliot, if anyone has it, can they please PM me? Thanks ^^

I just watched recent (ithink) episode of DaGeDa and machi came on in that very episode. I've never really listened to their music but i do find it unique that they use other chinese dialects in their music along with mando.

OH They also introduced 3 new guy members and a new girl member. The girl's voice, I heard abit at the end of the show where they played a bit of their new song. She has a pretty good voice.

As for Machi didi (is his name kenny?) he has GROWN O_O. They showed a clip of him last year and compared it to when he was on the show and damn! Major growth spurt xD<3

i used to like them alot because machi didi aka andrew chou was in it. Im totally over that now

I think all of them are from SoCal. Except one or two of them.

I don't suppose they're new. Jeff, Steven, and Stanley made L.A. Boyz in the early 90's, I think. But they disbanded and Jeff started up Machi a few years ago, with a bunch of his cousins and Nicky, and they just recently got a bunch of new members. Steven resumed his studies though, so he's busy becoming a doctor, last time I checked.

I like how they sing Taiwanese hip-hop. Taiwanese is basically Machi. That's what they're all about, brotherhood, hip-hop, being Taiwanese. Though it makes me smile inside when they actually do sing in Mandarin. Andrew looks so different now!

They're like commercial hip-hop. They're pretty old, and I hated machi didi or w/e. I never liked kids trying to rap.
