Singer Steve Seungjun Yoo will perform alongside Korean celebrities, such as Jang
Nara, Kangta & Vanness, and Tony Ahn.
The Korean singers will perform at the "2006 Korean-Chinese Star Carnival" to be
held at the Wulihe Stadium in Shenyang, China for two days on June 24 and 25. Also
performing will be many popular Chinese stars. Noteworthy is the fact that Yoo will
perform alongside Korean singers for the first time in four years.
A total of 90,000 fans will watch the two-day concert. The Wulihe Stadium has a
capacity of 8,600 seats on the ground and 38,048 seats in the stands.
With the Shenyang concert lending momentum, the agency Bugs Interactive will build
a new business model by promoting a large-scale performance business centered on
hallyu stars in Asia, including Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. The agency has recently
taken over a Taiwanese online music service agency. It plans to continue hosting
concerts that can maximize the cooperative effects of online and offline music
services in the overseas market in the future.
Park Sung-hoon, president of Bugs Interactive, said, "We have arranged the
upcoming concert to boost synergistic effects of on- and offline music business in
China with the purpose of expanding the hallyu boom in the entire Asian area and
advancing into Taiwan and China. We will build a new business model and actively
promote it at home and abroad."
