I'm looking for new earbuds for my mp3 player. The one's that came with it were crappy. Can someone recommend me some comfortable earbuds?

i'd suggest some Isolation earbuds .. they are probably the most comfortable out of everything.. (unlike ipod earphones.. they feell like rocks in your ears X.X)... if you dont look on spending a lot then just get some cheap JVC HA-FX55's.. they are really comfortable and sound qualtiy is a big jump from standard earphones.

hmm if you are looking to spend a lot on isolation earbuds then i would recommend some Shure's. my friend has some E6's and they have amazing sound quality'.. =O.. they are very comfortable aswell. but indeed very expensive.

they range from like... $35-$100+. for decent ones they can go up to $450. but i dont know who would want to spend that much unless they were a real audiophile.

for me i just got some cheap-ish $40 jvc's. they are good enough and it was a big jump from my old sennheisers.

well i don't have $100 to dish out right now. I've been looking at the Sennheiser CX300 most people say it's pretty good for its price.

It's not as good as the more expensive IEM's but it's the best one at that price so I would get it if I only had $70 to spend.

i recommend the sony mdr-ex51's. they cost relatively cheap ($25). i've had them for 2 years and they still work great. the first time i wore them i was just blown away, they sounded great, had nice bass, and blocked outside noise. i've lost some of the earbud pieces so now im stuck wearing a normal size earbud and a small one, so it feels a bit strange. thats the only bad thing about them. well im gonna get another pair one of these days.

or if u need a longer cord, go for the ex71's

i meant $100AUd but anyway if thats the case then you should look for some Sony EX-71's or some panasonic's. the panasonics go for $50AUD (basically the same as my JVC"s but more expensive =O) Sony's are more expensive but they are known for their bass. my friend complains about the lack of bass on my JVC's. i dont notice it thoguh.

The Sony MDR-EX71 had a bit too much bass on it, heaven forbid Neodammerung off the Matrix Revolutions score would ever play while my Zen Micro is on volume 19 and higher. wacko.gif The MDR-EX81LP resolved this issue but in my opinion, sound a bit too soft. I would say avoid the Sony earbuds and go for another brand. I'm also having trouble trying to find a decent set of earbud headphones but at the moment my MDR-EX81s will have to do. wink.gif
