Synopsis 1
Say you were a single woman at a marriageable age and a young, charming, and wealthy man of high social standing proposed to you. What would you do?

Suzuko Shiraishi, a strong-minded attractive female chef, is known for her foul mouth and masterly cooking skills. With an attitude like hers, she would reject such a proposal without a doubt. Suzuko works at an Italian restaurant and dreams of opening her own restaurant someday. A new manager is hired for the Italian restaurant � Haruki Katsuragi, a na�ve and stinking rich young fellow. Suzuko wants the restaurant to be an authentic Italian cuisine with mass appeal but Haruki demands a high-end place designed especially for celebrities. The two don�t click from the start. Will there be a tasty proposal? This drama is an entertaining romantic comedy about an independent woman and a young rich guy.

Suzuko Shiraishi (Hasegawa Kyoko)

A female chef who trained in Italy. Together with the manager, Tamio Okouchi, she runs an authentic Italian restaurant known for their reasonable prices. Suzuko�s father ran his own restaurant before he passed but it was sold to pay off her elder brother, Toru�s debt. She dreams of opening her own restaurant someday. The waitress, Maki Kashiwagi, and Suzuko are high school buddies and are rooming together.

Haruki Katsuragi (Koide Keisuke)

A young wealthy guy. The son of Dozo Katsuragi, chairman of a major food service company.

Haruki is pressured by his father to be like his late-brother. His secretary and chaperon, Takanobu Okouchi, is often pushed around by his aggressive personality. His childhood friend, Michiru Asakura, is obsessed with him but he�s interested in his brother�s former fiance, Saori Shimazaki. Unable to tell Saori his true feelings, Haruki takes her to Suzuko�s restaurant on her birthday. As the new owner of the restaurant, he orders �a meal that will make a dear friend happy�. yes i think is nice. The italian dishes are so yummy. If you like romance, this is your choice..lol..You can download at d-addicts raw. I think not much people sub this drama as this drama is like quite underrated, only episode 1 english subtitle out in d-addict. If you want chinese subtitle, think can download from BT.

I like Hasegawa Kyoko since I watch her drama with Takky (Boku Dake No Madonna)

I hope this drama is worth watching....

No it isn't from a manga. But it would at first glance seem to have a similar theme as My Name is Kim Sam Soon except that the similarities end there. Oishii Puropozu was one of the most boring and tepid romance dramas I have ever seen. I have never fancied Hasegawa Kyoko's acting for one. And the pairing of her and Koide Keisuke felt like more brother and sister rather than compatible romantic interests.

didn't get to finish it..the couple just lack chemistry..i still can;t believe the guy is the gay guy from nodame cantabile

he's also in Gokusen II... he's good at acting gay...

through out this series, i couldn't help but been bothered by how he always places his hands on his hips. but its' not too bad. I haven't finished it yet.

Yep he's Masami from Nodame Cantabile and now acting in Ushi ni Negai O.

I never made it to the end...although I think that he is quite a decent actor. To me, it was a case of wrong pairing.

ah ic.. i didn't think their chemistry was that bad... but i haven't watched even half of it yet. I do admit, I fast forward a lot.
The annoying (high pitched voice) girl. she's from dragon zakura right?
and the lead actress.. she looks familiar. GTO?
and her roommate.. is she in attention please or something like that?

Hasegawa Kyoko the lead actress was in Boku dake no Madonna, Dragon Zakura, Wonderful Life. As for the roommate, I'm not too sure because I didn't watch Attention Please, but she's appeared in quite a few supporting roles and is now in Yama Onna Kabe Onna.

Ah.. so Hasegawa Kyoko was the female teacher (i'm getting all the school dramas blended together).

Yama Onna Kabe Onna.. didn't watch it. I remember she comes off as the quiet type..but i can't place her. maybe it was just an actress that has a similar look as the roommate.

You were too engrossed in Chiaki? Haha. She played Sakura, the girl with the huge contrabass, whose family had many prized violins but was poor and had to work part-time while juggling music studies because her father refused to sell some of the violins to provide for the family.
