Anyone else taking this?

im so scareddd~ i heard last year ppl in my school like the crazy smart people didnt get over 750.

i have to cram so much stuff today~~ i tried to study but yea... it didnt work out~

i used barrons, kaplans, and bought dummys (never used it =XX)

i find barrons a good review (for me anyways) its all the info and i just memorize. while kaplan i dont really like the review as much. but for practice tests barrons seems way too easy since on my second one after only going over evolution and ecology i got an 800. which i was like ==. also kaplans practice tests seem much harder. =XX i have to take them all today~~ ahh!!

does anyone have recommendations on what to take?

i was planning on M from the wayy beginning but everyones saying take E because M is more emphasized in AP bio and not honors bio. (yes im a freshman) also many ppl say E is easier, but some also say M is easier =XX this is so confusing.

how did u guys study? do you happen to know how close the practice tests are to the real test?

*panick attack* lol. im not really spazzing just worried i wont get over a 750 (im aimging for over 760) but yea. but is that too high of a grade im expecting? lots of my friends are aiming for over 700. anyways yea... so anyone ready? lol.

Hi i'm also a fellow freshman and i'm going to take the Bio SAT2 tomorrow.
i'm definitely choosing E because.. well I feel more comfortable, and that is what's clearly on my mind too hha

I'll be honest, I have not studied at all. I'm comfident, but probably will be screwed because I havnt studied. But hey, I only missed 3 or something questions on that very small practice test.

Only reason i'm not taking this seriously is because I'm a freshman and I only see this as practice...

So ur planning on retaking this in later years? since this score will show up on ur college application since it is something u took in high school. oh wow u didnt study at all? lol. i have to cram everything tonight. hopefully i do well cuz im def. hoping to not retake this test ever again.

i've been recommended to take ecological.
as a freshman, im doing it on october of my sophmore year.
our classes are half-year long. so i bascially had a teacher that can teach biology in a half-year.
i wanna be safe and ready, so im studying in the summer.
im hearing sparknotes is good.

plus our school isnt really good, so im not ready.

man my friend is cramming (hopefully not right now) for SAT2 bio. he has the whole same half-year biology class as me (one year in biology means one half-year in our school), and he felt theres a lot of stuff he didnt learn. ionoe, good luck to him

took a year of bio.. as in taking bio every other day..
so i had it all school year.
I thought i did well.

my friend took it today, the one who crammed. he CRAMMED alot, according to him, the day b4 the test.
told me the test wasnt that hard. but when i asked him how much of the test we did not learn at school, he said "Maybe half, or a little less than half." (THATS A LOT). i asked if his book was helpful and he said his book (forgot if it was kaplans or princeton), and he said, REALLY HELPFUl.

but he crammed.. ionoe our school is weird:

1) NO AP BIOLOGY
2) HALF-YEAR CLASSES

im a freshmen also nd i was planning to take satII bio since im in honors bio nd the tests are much harder in honors nd we go much faster. but when i bought the barrons book for satII bio, most of it were stuff we didnt focus on in class. like, they were stuff that you would learn in AP bio class, not honors or regular bio that u take in 9th grade.
also, my friend was planning to take it also, but her two older sisters who took it in freshmen year too told her not to take it, cuz it has stuff in AP bio, not freshmen bio...
hehe so i just decided to take it in my junior year; im planning to take AP Bio in my junior year...
im planning to take molecular section, cuz i got like B's and C's in the ecology tests in class, while i got all A's in the molecular sections (:<
can you PM me about how the test was?? like was it hard or easy?? also, which book do you think prepared u more for it?? Barrons or Kaplan??

^^ Barron's is way over detailed......Kaplan is good I heard,.....If you are planning to take AP Bio and the SATII, I would recomment Cliffnotes for AP Bio......it's very good, plus, it'll help you for the test.......also , Sparknotes ( online) has a good book on Bio.....

The old AP Bio teacher at my school said Five Steps to a Five is the best book. She knows what she's talking about since no one in her class last year got lower than a four, and she received a trip to Las Vegas for being such a good teacher. Sadly, she stopped teaching AP Bio when I signed up for it.

i didn't use a book, but I took Bio-M in May and I thought the test was pretty easy, MUCH easier than the AP i wasn't completely prepared for thanks to slacking off in the best AP bio class at my school. i got an 800 without preparing well, so you should do fine if you cram (i decided not to cram 'cause there was too much i didn't think i knew). also, molecular wasn't that molecular, even, so i was surprised.

well i heard AP bio is sorta diff from sat ii bio but yea its better to take it after ap but yea i didnt. it wasnt too bad but it wasnt all that easy. WOW~ 800 without preparing =XX i wish i were you. lol.
