There are parts of Aikido namely the wrist locks, and joint breaks used today to train special forces, military, and law enforcement agencies around the world.
The techniques of aikido may be used but the principle and application are not taught to any one in the military i hope.
Plus i can argue that those are Judo techniques since Judo implements Wrist Locks and Joint Breaks aswell and Judo was actually a core element of many military H2H programs like MCMAP and MACP, even looking at Get Tought the British H2H book you see Judo not Aikido.
It is the Soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of press. It is the Soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer who gives us freedom to demonstrate. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and who's coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
Hooah!
