a little background:
he was born in germany
he used to play for one of the istanbul teams, besiktas
became fairly well-known after his performance in the 2002 world cup (turkey didnt qualify this year -.-)
he played briefly for vissel kobe, but left due to an injury (i think it was his knee?)
then he played for hertha berlin but left, iono why
now he plays for ankaragucu
or maybe he's left them too, i dont know :X
he is married
nicknamed 'the samurai' because he used to wear his hair..the little ponytail thing like a samurai :x
