(sorry if there were threads like these before)

Hey guys, I'm debating between two digicams that I'm considering to buy within
the next few days - the thing is, I'm not sure which one I should really consider.
Right now, I like the Cybershot moreso than the Canon because it's cheaper/has
more megapixels than the Canon ... and yes, I do like a lot of megapixels on
my camera (6.0 MP vs 5.0, a plus since I'm going to art school as well).

But I just want your opinions or reviews on either or.

i think the 450 is probably better than sony... if 450 is expensive why don't you get the 400? smaller screen but same everything else i think.

wen i was in best buy.i wzkinda trying out the cameras and cannon zooms in a lot more and better than the sony does.even though the sony has more mp the cannon end up being a lot betta ;].

i have the 450 and i would definitely recommend it.
i lurrrrvveeeee the huge screen on it.
it takes quality pictures, too

Your alot better of getting the Canon. Sony is a general company that makes a lot of things (cameras, vid cam, tv's) but Canon specializes in cameras. So quality will be a lot better.

I love, adore my sd450, sleek and slender for my little hands.. great lcd for preveiwing and playback videos

The SD450 is way better.

Canon.......i have had two sony's, and even though when I'm taking picture very steadily, the pics often comes out blurry

Canon. I have the 550, which is pretty much 450+heavier metal frame and an extra 2.1 mp. =] Go canon. It's much more reliable and they're made more for performance, whereas Sony is made for appearance.
