the thing is absolutely gorgeous. from afar it looks quite mysterious but up close and personal the stang looks like it could be in the same class as any exotic. its got a rouche fully bodykit the interior is so decked out with so many features makes even some of the more luxury brands like bmw & mercedez envious at its disposition.
this thing just absolutely gets everyones attention. my buddy let me sit in it and its like nothing i've ever sat in.
this is by far the most expensive car i have ever sat in and i wish it was mine

making an overweight, over priced, under performing car? unless of course you get the 550hp one for $70k (thats with no options) which in that case you'd be better off getting a z06, which is a much better car.

Woah you're in love with this car aren't you? I doesn't seem like you've been exposed to many luxury cars, because from what I know Saleen Mustangs doesn't have many luxury features. Can you explain in more detail?

I don't know about the newest Saleens but my friend bought a new '98 Saleen Mustang back then and the interior looked almost the same as a Mustang GT (which he totaled before getting the Saleen). I think a few differences in the interior is the gauges, pedals, Saleen badge, shift knob, floor mats... I can't think of anything else.

I didnt think it was all that and a bag of chips. Interior felt cramped and cheap, the exterior was sinister in black but i dont think its even desktop-wallpaper material. Probably exciting for a whole 10 seconds to look at.

#s probably dont match up..with all that it only matches up to base corvette c6.

the shelby also got owned in a comparison test with the base c6 vette. i didnt know it weighted almost 4000 lbs... mustangs are crap boxes. for the money of those mustangs i would rather get a vette.

they are two comparible cars. they both cost about the same. the mustang has 500hp, and the vette 400hp. they are both marketed like the ultimate american car. people will cross shop the two. its a fair test that the vette wins hands down

wow you are such a tool its not even funny. ok so your precious saleen (probably not even the "extreme" one) smokes the vette but not lambos or ferrari's. but the z06 vette can smoke ferraris and lambos. your logic seems off.

There's no point in trying to convince this kid otherwise...Saleen Mustang is nice, but not worth the price at all, it doesn't have the best performance either, so his over exaggeration on this car shows that this is the best car he has ever had a chance to sit in so far. Luxury cars are luxury cars, sports cars are sports cars. Hands down, anyone would go for the vette instead.
