If I'm not wrong... Kungfu Fighter is produced by a company that's owned by Vanness, Jimmy Hung (from Tension), and Machi family... Cause I heard about the production company I think 2 years ago when I read an interview of Jimmy... They want to produce something that they like and not be controlled by companies so they started their own company.

As for his new album, I like the title song and the song let go... I find that his first solo album more captivating. I'm not that into dance songs and I guess my taste is a bit different. But I love the song mama... I love the music, I can't believe V managed to get the song from Jeffrey's hand... I also love the rock song written by Machi didi... I think it really matches V... It reminds me of V in Lee Hom's concert last year in Hong Kong... V danced to Lee Hom's drum beats and it really matched the song, quite rockish...

IMPORTANT!!!! I heard that F4's name is going to be replaced by the name JVKV Because of authorization problems of Japan? because Japan has filmed the Japanese version of Meteor Garden, there are now 2 F4s.. I have the news article about this new name issue but it's not allowed to post on other forums without permission of Jerry's kingdom..

I was kind of sad to know that they are going to change F4's name since i'm used to the name F4 for like 5 years or so.. It's just their name and to change their name all of a sudden is just weird I guess.. They are being recognized by the name F4, and F4 is somewhat a legend in Asia, so it's uber weird to call them JVKV now.. But we will get used to it I guess..somehow..

F4 Jerry Yan, Ken Chu, Vic Chou and Vanness Wu United to hold
International Fans Meeting in recent

F4 just “United” for an International Fans Meeting in Taiwan. The event attracted more than 4000 Japanese and Korean fans and brought along $1500 million commercial rewards on tourism. Others heard that the four are planning to hold a concert this year. However, both Jerry Yan and the other F3s’ Agencies denied there were such a plan for concert. Despite, they will be “Reunited” again in October for another major event to be held in Taiwan under the Tourist Bureau project.

Idol drama is missing Jerry Yan

Taiwan Tourist Bureau spent $800 million to invite F4 to be its Tourist Ambassador target at Japan and Korea. The project includes idol drama, advertisements and 4 overseas press conference (2 for each in Japan & Korea), and 2 inland events. Vic Chou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu will lead in the idol drama whereas Jerry Yan confirmed will be absent from it.

Last March, F4 had 4 concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum. This year, they joined again to hold international fans meeting for Taiwan Tourism. So far, no plan is set for concerts. The only thing could be confirmed is they will hold another major event in October for the Tourist Bureau in Taiwan. Weather this event will be open to Taiwanese fans is yet to be decided by the organizer.

BEIJING, April 29 -- Fans of Taiwan boy band F4 pay attention: your idols have abandoned their name. They now want you to scream "JVKV" instead.

The group's new name is combination of the first letters from each member's English name.

Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Chu and Vanness Wu became extremely sought-after throughout Asia in 2001, following the release of the TV series "Meteor Garden," in which the four young heartthrobs play a group called the "Flower Four."

Angie Chai, the drama's producer, explains that the use of the name F4 was permitted by the Japanese publisher of "Hana Yori Dango," or "Boys over Flowers," the comic book the drama was based on. However, Japan has adapted their own version and now the publisher hopes the name of F4 will no longer be used in unofficial "Hana"-related contexts.

She has acknowledged that changing the band's name is not going to be easy, as "F4" has become deeply rooted in fans' hearts.

After "Meteor Garden," the four boys have been seeking to develop careers in both acting and music - together as well as separately.

In 2001, they signed a record deal as F4 with Sony, and since then, have released two albums.

Each member has also produced solo works already.

JVKV? WTF! o_o I like F4 better Honestly, I don't understand why they have to change their name from F4 to JVKV... Just because there's now a Japanese version of F4 (the ones in HYD? They're not even a permanent group!!! ) And I agree with Chynna... F4 (JVKV?) has been around since 2001, and the japanese F4 has only been around since 2005 (I think) so I don't think they (TW F4) should be the ones that should change the F4 title...

But then again, Japan did create the original HYD manga (which MG was based on). Soooooo... Eh. I dunno. TT_TT

Heh, but even if TW F4 change their name to JVKV, I'll still call 'em F4 xD
