Hey! Just wanted to know where the Soompi's college mass earn their money. Do you guys work during school? I know I don't; I have only worked during the summer.

This summer i am working part-time as a supervisor at Crabtree & Evelyn. But i don't think that is enough, so i also applied for jobs at the bank. And if i have any time left over, i am going to also fit in a babysitting job or two into my schedule.

When i get back to school this fall, i am definitely going for an internship.

Working on my resume is so much fun~

it was very stressful, as my bosswoman was THE ultimate BOSS FROM HELL. -___-

I've been working since i was in highschool. Like tutoring and office jobs. I love it!!! i tend to stay away from the food area cuz my friends r in it and they hate it. They have to deal with angry customers, lazy workers, sexual harrasment, disputes..ugh.. Ive been working as a student assistant for like 2 years and going strong, plus summer too. But i've been going summer school as well. Its pretty easy...and you learn a lot of people skills. Also, they are flexible on students. the pay is okay...

Last summer it took me over a month to find a job.
It was a seasonal retail job.

I took a break during the winter and spring quarter.
And now I just recently got a summer job at Baskin Robbins.

Im still considering if I should continue working once fall quarter starts.

i usually work all throughout school part time. Sometimes i'll try and find a temporary job during or after summer school, but this summer i decided to take it off since i've earned enough to vacation.

last summer i got a job in retail within a week!! LOL, all my friends were complaining that jobs were sooo hard to find !!!! its was my first job ever too so my friends were even more jealous...

aNyways.. im plannin to go back to the same store this summer cause I got good ties with the staff, and because I wanna work again but with a bit more professionalism this time around.

Last summer and this summer, working as a doorman/porter in NYC. $14.35/hr is the summer relief pay. worked 3 months last year, made $4000.

At school, I'll work as a Peer Mentor ($7/hr), chem tutor ($7/hr) and this thing called Night Rider (driving to and from off campus parties so that drunk people get rides) at $6.75 per hour.

This summer, I'm doing a little training for a computer job ($8/hr) I got at school which starts in Fall. It's only a few days though and it sucks cause I won't see any money till September. Right now I'm still trying to find a job for the rest of the summer T-T.

Pretty decent money I suppose, it's the first time I've actually had $100 cash in my wallet


I only prefer to work once a week (two if they reaaaalllyyy need me) while I'm at school, so I'll most likely quit the restaurant job at th end of the summer. But even once a week was a little bit hard on me while I was in school... in high school, I could work weekends and even one or two weekdays no problem

PNE? They hire a loot and it's only until school starts, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem
