It looks like your Chem Honors class is fairly low relative to the rest of your grades, but in all honesty that is still pretty good. Sure, it's lower, but I think you've shown (thus far) that you can do well in your classes. You are very well-rounded, which is good because that will up your chances of getting into a college that you want. Good work! And keep it up!
Still young, but I feel incredibly old. Silly me.

Your grades are pretty much like mine. biggrin.gif Except I'm getting two C's this year. sleep.gif Heh, but you seem very well rounded. And basically, they mostly just look at the soph/junior years. I think fresh year doesn't even count? o_O

But good essay writing is really important for college and stuff, and SATs score. I'm not sure, but if you do well on your SATs and with a not so GPA, it's really okay.

how tough are ur classmates? to be honest, that's a bit too many Bs in sophomore year. you do have a ton of activities, though. junior year is the most important year. if you can pull off all honors and APs w/ 3.8, i think gpa-wise ur set for ivy.

hey if you're gonna be a junior, still lots of time to raise that gpa, even at bronx science.

columbia might be a reach because of gpa so make sure you have some more extracurriculars that say something about you, what you're into.

yeah i don't think you should be worried about nyu x]

Many schools don't allow sophomores to take AP classes until Junior year.

I'd say that NYU is a good choice for now. If you raise up your GPA next year then you can start looking at the Ivies.
