sacredangel requested this of me back in April and just saw it recently...sorry it took sooooo long to even see that u requested!

i sang this at 1:30 am, cuz that's just how I do sometimes. i hope u like it tho!

I did a vocal cut version and an a cappella. I put them together in one track, so have a listen to both if u'd like.

a cappella --- seems weak compared to the other one and is a bit more choppy than I'd like.

w/ vocal cut --- sounds NOTHING like ms. keys. But I tried to do it my way...we all know how that is.

Anyway... it's a pretty good cover of the song. It's so hard!!!!!
The guy isn't r&b enough. And DAMN WOMAN you sound just like MC at parts! Really good Some pitch problems though... but other than that, this is really awesome collab.

and to be honest...i just sing and sing and sing......i haven't taken any lessons. I've worked on the runs, trying not to do so many...and focused on being smoother and more controlled. maybe that is what ur hearing. AS far a s warming up goes...some people may gasp & be shocked at this, but I don't really warm up that often. I know i need to start. when i do, it's like normal warm-ups if that makes sense. The ones I was taught in HS, just going up and down the scale & stuff. I hope that helps!

ahhh, I love this song..i've only heard Brian McKnight's version though, but it sounds the same.

anyway, very good job. you have a nice voice, and I really like the way you control it at some parts, but just work on the high notes a teeeeny bit.
