Continuation of the hit drama “Wai Rai High School” comes “Wai Rai Freshy”. With returning cast Aon Lukkana, Nathalie Davis, and Ryu Arthit. There are two new members, Dan and Big that will be joining them in the group with their characteristics that are very naughty. Dan’s father is very strict who is different from Big’s mother who is always spoiling her son. The both of them really hate the way their parents are treating them.So, their personality at home and at college would be very different. When the seniors told the freshmen to enroll their selves, Dan and Big came late, so they were punished. The both of them wouldn’t do what they were told to do. Aon, on the other hand doesn’t like how the seniors are punishing Dan and Big, so she helped talk back to the seniors. This had made Big like her. After that, Jay came late because she was helping her grandma at the store, so the seniors yelled her. She couldn’t take it, so she talked back to them. So, everyone was punished and then they started to know each other.
Kitty, the popular girl who has a crush on Ryu, noticed that Aon is really close to Ryu, so she was jealous and then tripped Aon in the classroom. Jay saw what had happened, so she threw a pencil at her head, but no one knows that Jay did it. Nathalie was daydreaming in class and everyone was asking her what’s wrong. She told them that she’s in love with the basketball coach. So, she told Aon and Bo to go join the basketball team with her. Ryu, Ong, Big, and Dan joined. Jay’s mother is very old-fashioned lady. So, she doesn’t want Jay to continue college. Jay has to work part time in the evening, so she can pay for college. When Dan and Big went to the store that Jay works at, they talked and started to be closer. That made Jay likes Dan, but she was quiet about it.
When it was the championship game at the end of the year, the seniors sent Aon, Nathalie, and Bo to the championship for the basketball game. They also pressured them to win. So, they went to ask Jay to be in the team. At first, Jay didn’t want to play, but when Dan asked her to, she decided to play and they won. Ryu and Big were competing against each other in bicycling. When Big went the wrong way, Ryu saw and went to help, not caring if he wins or not. Ryu actions were touching to Big. After that, Ryu has to compete against Dan in Muay Thai and Ryu won. The next day, Dan and Big who were touched by Ryu’s sports spirit, so they wanted to shake hands with him. Now the crush circle in the group is going crazy because Big likes Aon who is Ryu’s girlfriend and Big thinks that Dan likes Aon too. Jay likes Dan, Ong likes Nathalie, but Nathalie likes the coach. The coach likes another teacher which another guy teacher likes that teacher. One night, Jay came home late and saw that her mom is very sick. So, she had to take her to the hospital and then she called Dan. Dan came to the hospital and made Jay like Dan even more. When Jay’s mom came back home, she asked Jay to quit school and take care of the store. The “Wai Rai” group came to help and visit Jay’s mom until one day she’s decided that Jay should go back to school.
Nathalie was heart broken when she saw that the coach is close to the teacher. That time everyone was busy and she ran into Dan, so she decided to tell him how she feels. Dan comforted her and cheered her up. After that, he went to drop her off at home. Nathalie’s mom saw and thought that they were going out and so she was happy. Then, Dan just started to like Nathalie. One day, Ryu was sick and went to see the doctor. The doctor told him that he has a brain tumor and there’s no way he can recover. Also, he won’t be able to live that long. He was shock, but strong enough to keep it to himself and didn’t tell anyone. Then he started to be more close to Kitty because he doesn’t want Aon to be hurt when he dies. Also, he even helps Big to be more close to Aon. Ong saw that everything was going wrong, so he went to talk to the teacher. Then he had an idea that everyone in the group should go take pictures of the nature in the forest. So, they all went and Kitty went along with them too. Aon was jealous, so she acted like she likes Big. Ryu was sad, but happy that Big is going to take care of Aon for him when he’s gone. While walking in forest, Ryu and Aon got lost together and so did Dan and Nathalie. When they were lost, Ryu told Aon that one day she’d understand everything that he did. After that, the group found the both of them, but Dan and Nathalie were lost for one more day. This made them like each other. The next day, the group found Dan and Nathalie. When they were walking over the bridge, the bridge broke at where Big was standing. He almost fell, but Ryu helped him risking his own life. This had made Big touched by Ryu’s actions.
When they came back to school, Nathalie noticed that Jay likes Dan. She decided to leave Dan because all her life she got everything, but Jay had a very tough life. So, she tries to ignore Dan. After that, Ryu started to be sicker. His dad just found out that Ryu has brain tumor, he was shock and very sad. So, he called Aon up and she went to see Ryu at the hospital along with the rest of the group. Everyone was sad when the doctor told them that Ryu is not going to live that long, at least two months. Aon and Ryu tried to spend their last moments together. Then, Ryu died and everyone was sad. They weren’t the same after Ryu’s death. The teacher couldn’t take it anymore, so he showed them the video that Ryu made before his death. The video that Ryu left them has to do with what? Will it make everyone happy again? And how will the relationship of each couple would end up?
