Hi! Im currently looking for a part time job. I was told that there will be a hiring fair at Starbucks. Its an on the spot interview. Has anyone of you worked there before? im planning to go there but not sure what to wear.

My roommate just got a job there last week--I think she just went in nice khakis, and a cream cardigan with a white polo shirt underneath. Don't go too dressy--she said it was a really chill interview.

The people who work at Starbucks are pretty chill, laid back people. You don't need to dress up if you're just going for an interview as a barista. The interview is pretty much casual, so a nice pair of jeans and a good shirt will do fine.

A tip you could use during the interview is to think up of some experiences where you've served and satisfied customers, whether it'd be a previous retail job or volunteer work. Starbucks is big on providing "legendary service."

haha dont wear jeans to an interview. I heard you should always dress better than the interviewer him/herself. When i go for my interview at br, im gonna wear a full suit with dress shoes.
Well, I guess what the person said previously is a good tip.
My friend also works there, he likes it. Nice 15% discount for any drink....yummy

wheeew! the interview was fun... I wore a 3/4 sleeved top and black pants... I was surprised to see others wearing just shorts and plain shirts.... at least I looked presentable... The questions were all about the company and I was very glad since I researched about them... I'm keeping my fingers crossed... thanks guys for the infos...

hello...first day was all about orientation....the initial responsibilities that you will do... there are lots of things to remember...and sometimes you have to be fast... for me its all new coz I've never mixed coffee in my life (all I know is making instant coffee) I hope I will learn fast, be efficient and not do anything wrong... but its fun and your co workers are very friendly and helpful...

Know all the menu in and out. DO NOT MIX CUPS AND GET THE RIGHT NAMES.

I don't know how much it has changed, but I used to work in starbucks during my junior and senior year in highschool. That was 3 years ago.

Know all the menu? Its quite complicated coz there's a lot to memorize especially the names of some beverages are too long... I'm still in my training....I've got a long way to go... thanks for the info...
