so i had no idea if this going in the pre college or college since i'm not in high school anymore but i'm not in college yet so

yea but how do you know if you actually "GET" financial aid from your school. I sent back the financial aid offer paper i got from a packet the school sent me which says how much there willing to lend me. Does the school usually send you a paper that confirms that you WILL get financial aid, cause I NEED IT and i'm scared that i didn't get it or something....

they usually send you the reward check early fall. don't worry about it.

You can call the financial aid department in the school you plan to visit to confirm if they are willing to give you a loan or not, if you have doubts ^^ Congratulations and good luck in college mrshyunbin!

I got an email from the college I sent my financial aid to and it told me that I succesfully got financial aid then the other college I got a letter in the mail telling me that I was accepted for financial aid.

also some schools (like mine) do things online
so they might give u username and password so u can log on and see how things are going etc....

whats the percentage change of being accepted for financial aid? im jsut making sure but fafsa isnt a loan right? what if your parents made about 80k(combined)? would i be elligible for fafsa or other free money?

Fafsa gives out grants and student loans, plus sometimes they also give you an option to work loan meaning that you can work while going to school to pay the loan off. I'm not sure about how much or even if you can get financial aid because of how much your parents made, but it also depends on what school you go to and how much their tution costs.

I had to check online through email and the FAFSA & school website, and the money directly goes into my account.. so no tangible check.

my financial aid package is posted online. if your school doesnt, or you dont know about it, you can call the financial aid office and ask.

yeah, my financial aid is directly applied to my bill, so i dont have a "reward check."

i think in your case, if you sent back the financial aid paper the school sent you, you will get what they offered. they wont offer what they WONT give you.
