Does anybody know how to upload pictures onto wikipedia properly?

I was doing a page in wikipedia and I uploaded some images onto it so i could use them on the site.

But after i finished i recieved a message sayin the pictures I've uploaded had no source and would be deleted within 7 days.

I have NO idea how to source the images, I've read the tutorials and stuff and i still don't get them.

Can anybody help me? thanks in advance.
