what is the best way to delete songs and videos and anything else you might have downloaded?
I'm downloading stuff from Ares and Emule and after I burned cds or watched the files I don't need them so I click DELETE which sends them to the recycle bin which I clear out later.. will this completely erase these files? I dont want any of them floating around taking up room in my comp (and being shared on the file sharing program) b/c its kind of slow already and i need more memory.
Does anyone know about this?

Dumping them into the recycle bin and deleting it will "get rid of it"
In the future when windows needs space, it will write over that area of the drive... thats why data recovery is possible. But generally you hit delete it will go away eventually by itself.

If you wanna delete without confirmation you can do a "SHIFT + DELETE".
Yea, what awdark said is true. There are 3rd party program that will zero out the information so it won't be recovered but generally just deleting it will be sufficient enough in your case.
