If you want to, go ahead.

Once you lower and get rims, that's not all you'll want. That's what happened to me heh

honestly, there aren't that many fast tiburons out there.

If i were you i'd just go for looks instead of speed cuz the tib's engine doesnt react well to mods even for a v6

We can't tell ya if u should mod it or not. If you enjoy it, by all means go for it.

I wished I didn't like cars so I wouldn't spend my money on it! laugh.gif

Usually people go with headers/intake/exhaust as the first mod. Depends on what you want to "mod".

I heard the opposite for the V6. Actually its pretty restrictive in stock form. With some I/H/E, ive seen some considerable gains on dyno sheets for the V6. The only thing is that the car is heavy..

the v6 engine responds very well to simple bolt-ons much like intakes and exhausts. i recommend Injen's CAI[cold air intake] and SES exhaust system which will add 30+hp and tq

just drop the car and get some rims. Maybe even get a new exhaust to have a cleaner look and sound.

I wouldnt even bother doing any serious engine mods. Even if you boost it, its still decent at best. With all boltons that are available for the Tiburon GT and along with cams.... it cant even break 200whp. Pathetic for a 2.7L V6.

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

Just like QWK said, even if you mod your car with all the bolt-ons its not worth it IMO, even if you break 200WHP you'll still get smoked by most of the new 6-cyl cars.. unless you spend serious money that is.

Succumb to lowering / wheels like i did... you won't regret it! smile.gif

Similar to my 2.5rs....the motor is crap. If you get IHE with it you'll make maybe 135whp. If you want looks just get the drop and rims, leave the motor alone, or maybe just get an axleback for the look I guess.
