There were 3 men stranded on an island which was one mile away from shore. They've been on the island for about a month now and couldnt take it anymore and decided to make a plan. They decided to try and swim one mile to shore.

So the first man decides to go first. He swam and swam half a mile, but got too tired and drowned. The second man tried it too,but only reached half a mile also because he became too tired and drowned.

Lastly, the last man tried to swim one mile to shore. He swam and swam half a mile, but decided he was too tired to swim anymore, and swam back to the island.
