i dont have a mic.. how can they hear me?

you guys know how on aim you can talk with your friends using a mic, right?

well, my friend connected with me on aim using the talk button. he had a mic and i could hear him talk and everything. however, i dont have one and he said he could hear his echoes, however..... i dont have a mic!

so i tested it out with another friend on aim. i connected with her and i played music from my computer, and she heard it!

exactly how is this possible?!?!

are u on a laptop or a desktop?

maybe you have a mic built-in to your monitor, had it plugged in all this time and didn't know it. Look at where the speakers are plugged into your computer. The other plug next to it is your mic input... follow it. If you're on a laptop, then it's built-in to your laptop. Just go to your sound settings (usually that yellow horn in the lower right corner), change over to recorder settings and either mute or reduce the mic volume all the way down.

well.. you probably have a mic and just dont know about it lol.. unless you're on a desktop.. and then its probably some ghost of a dead IT guy haunting ur friend's computer.
