Togo/Korea game Rant agh...

I was able to watch the korean/Togo game show live through satellite feed with a handful of friends.

1. The game was absolutely horrendous, if korea plays the way they have been playing; I don't think they will see 16th round. They just played all over the place for the first 15 minutes. its not really satisfying when we barely win against a team that had its first debut in world cup. Not to mention Togo had less players in the second half with the captain gone.

2. To clarify, park ji sung set up the penalty kick for the first goal. It would have been just a punch in the face if chun missed the penalty kick from that distance.

3. The koreans had possession of 55% during the whole game, but still allowed the GA during first half. That is another punch in the face.

4. The game could have swung in Togo's favor if the capt didn't get the red card (which is ironic btw to the 02 world cup). I don't think we can ride on the refree's luck this time around

5. However, big ups to Jung hwan for that spectacular goal. The play leading up to his goal should have been executed early on for morale boost.

6. I really wouln't mind seeing Korea go to the semi again, but have you guys been watching the Brazil and most of european division games so far?.

7. I am glad korea got the footing and the momentum with this first win but this game just left a bad aftertaste.

lol. ok. I agree that Korea didn't play good, but there is still a thread about this.

Since your so elite, I guess it would have been normal for you to post a link to the thread to guide the newbies? or does the status of your "soompi's unknown friend" just acquired with ill guided response like yours?. Oh wait, I made a new thread since I couldn't find any discussion here regarding today's outcome and unless the search function has been fixed...

that would be the perfect place to put your opinions on the korea/togo game
or you could always post in the world cup thread where all the general world cup discussions go
