Just a quick question, does changing brake pads affect my wheel alignment and tire balance?
Thanks.

correct me if i'm wrong, but they shouldn't cuz its only touching the calipers, unless you messed around with the entire wheel assembly

Are these "definite" answers or just guesses?
I'm asking because i need both new tires and new brake pads but will get both done at different places. Just wondering what's the best order to get them done.

your definite answer..
no. changing the pads will not affect wheel alignment. steering and alignment is related to the suspension, not the braking system.
if you get new tires they'll balance them for you before they put it on.

Usually when you're getting new tires, you get an alignment to properly set the suspension so that you don't have abnormal tire wear on your new tires.
