Well, since I noticed no one has talked about it, and since I've been playing at one of the original test locations for it, I thought it might be interesting to see if there are any ITG players out there on soompi.
For those of you who don't know, In The Groove (or ITG as it's called) is a game similar to DDR made by Roxor Games (if you own a RedOctane DDR pad, they made this game pretty much.). So similar, that Konami sued them for copyright stuff. But anyways, the game itself was designed for those who think DDR is too easy. It is most definitely a game marketed toward people who have played DDR for a long time, and want some crazy steps.
Unlike DDR, it has tons of new modifiers to play around with, mines (round circles that come up with the arrows that you have to avoid), hands (hitting 3 or 4 arrows at once, sometimes on freezes or as jumps), and rolls (freeze arrows that you have to keep hitting). ITG also has a higher difficulty range, with song difficulties as high as 13. If you thought Max 300 or Paranoia Survivor Max Oni was mean, Pandemonium, Energizer, and Vertex make them look much more easy.
Another nice feature is that the dedicated cabinets (dedicabs) were designed so people could play more easily. The monitor on an ITG2 dedicated cabinet is much larger than a standard DDR monitor, and the bar is raised higher and wider so that it's easier to use.
Finally, for those of you who found perfect attacking too easy in DDR, ITG has another timing window for more accurate steps known as Fantastic. Think of it like playing Nonstop or Marathon on DDR, and getting the Marvelous score.
If you haven't checked it out yet, give it a shot. It's a nice change of pace from DDR, has a neat USB drive to save scores, and top scores are auto-saved onto the machine.

Post scores, and discuss. ^^
Here are some of my scores from 8 on the Break in Dunellen, NJ, one of the original test locations of ITG. The new ITG2 dedicab is just sweet.
