The Most proffesional football player today. He'll be even better if he moves back to Europe. Tbh, he needs to get out of the MLS now.

He was supposed to come to America and make soccer more popular here. That didnt happen and Americans still dont like soccer and he was injured most of the time that he was here. He is a good player, but way overrated in my book...

He is considered to be the Greatest By Today's Greatest "dead ball" kicker in the world. People who don't know the game of soccer well enough will tell you he's over rated because they often compare him to Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ronaldinho which is the most stupidest comparison one can make. Why? Because they don't play the same role as David Beckham. They are Strikers, their whole career is based on scoring goals.
Beckham plays Midfield - the play maker and the one who able to see and support the whole field if he needs too. Thats why he doesn't score as many goals as all the golden boot winners. He's main priority is not to score goals but to help set up his strikers i.e. Rooney, Heskey, and Defoe for goals.
Even Roberto Carlos ( at 2:15) considers David Beckham to be the best free kicker in the world. If you were to ask most professional goalies who they are afraid of when a free kick comes they will say Beckham.
He is one of the greatest footballers in the world and next time someone tell you he's not and compares him to Cristiano Ronaldo then tell them they are stupid.

all they can think about is his good looks. Not that that's a bad thing, but him being overrated
works some people up to where they ignore his gameplay. That's only my opinion. But it happened to me
too...when I hear the name Beckham sometimes I think of a hot british guy (8DD), instead of the good
soccer player that he is.

mhmm maybe he is not a world player of the year
but when you see her throphy at manchester united and what he did id his last carreer in europe at real madrid
he told by coach that he will never play again, but he still training with his teamates (usually when coach said
he doesnt need that player he will not training for protesting coach decisions) and you know what
he took a big role for real madrid to win a league in his last year even though at first the coach didnt want use his
service.

he was a great soccer player, but now he's getting older and younger soccer players are coming in and gaining attention..
on my old soccer team some girls were asked who their favorite soccer player was and pretty much all of them said David Beckham. Just because that's the only soccer player they know the name of - besides Mia Hamm. (We were about 14 then and none of those girls were serious soccer players.)

Believe me, it's not easy to kick a 100 meter cross that lands exactly on the foot of a running player.
