well i went to see a a very cheap RSX-s today with my rents and uncle at acura dealer that my uncles friend worked at. it(rsx) was 03, 88k mileage, black, w/ a-spec kit, type-s, yes well it was a type-s alright....it was asked for 12k pretty cheap comapred to the 15-18k prices... interior and exterior evrything was in good condition...black/black inside out...but the problem is it was missing the RSX-S emblem part, and it had some ricer stickers on it, and some stuff i believe it had an aem CAI, and a dc sport cat back with a little vtec sticker on the side, and a big vtec stick on the windshield.... it looks so rice because of the stickers....is it worth the price tho? or i was thinking about getting another integra but cant find no more ITR in my area(georgia) there all over 120k mileage and messed up.... but ive seen some clean teg ls's for 6k-8k but not sure whats good... please let me know. should go a little cheaper and go for an teg ls or the riced up rsx?

thats a decent price, taking off the stickers shouldnt be too hard

stop waiting and buy that thing smile.gif

but be warned, theres a good chance that the car's been abused a bit cuz of the mods

On most, if not all, there is a 2nd gear grind if you didnt know and make sure that it's been fixed under warranty

is it a real Acura dealership?

Usually at the dealer, prices are higher than private party. Does the car hold a a salvaged title? Price might be cheap because of the stickers and some "imperfections"

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

that's pretty damn high mileage for a car that's a little less than 4 years old. Not including the fact that it's a modded car so it's probably driven harder than normal people who drive stock. I'd get the VIN checked out to see it's history. If you're gonna drop 12k it makes sense to spend a few extra bucks to check out a car first. At the very least you'll have peace of mind.

^^^^ i agree 88k is alot of miles for a 3-4 year old car =T
could have been driven hard and definately was driven alot that could be why its low priced...high miles=lower value

^ obviously the car is priced lower because of the higher mileage

i doubt the car was driven hard a lot. lot of miles in a short amount of time usally means they were on the highway a lot. who would rev the crap out of their car all day driving that much?

the kind of person who would buy an RSX and cover it in stickers.

^ lol @ you

it bothered you because it didnt have the emblem? lolol. you can just buy a new one

if the engine is running good, who cares if the engine was reved the crap out of? and removing stickers should be fairly easy.

you will probably never buy a used car with that kind of mind set. unless you paid a lot

You could have just taken it to a shop or had a mechanic perform a visual inspection and a engine check. People do allow this right?
