i'm new to manhwa... recommendations, please?

i don't really read manga or manhwa period, but i wanna give it a try. i'm pretty familiar with mainstream manga, but i find myself really lost when look for good manhwa. i want something that's funny, or even with a little romance in it -- so if anyone could recommend any titles to me, i'd appreciate it a lot. thank you! smile.gif

Well, I'm not really a big fan of manhwa - they remind me too much of kdramas and I absolutely dislike kdramas. In fact, I can sit there and predict the majority of kdramas.

Yeah, the "no recommendation and asking whats good to read/watch/play" rule was enforced back in the days when Raye was mod. That rule really needs to be put back into place.

Chocolat by Shin JiSang and Geo - is good.. funny at times cute at times
Goong - i didnt finish.. but a lot of people like it? the names of the royalty people are kind of confusing for me though

I would definetly recommend BLEACH and Parfait Tic!.

Especially BLEACH. Not something you want to miss out on. smile.gif

As some people mentioned, Fruits Basket is a good manga to read especially if you are just starting out. Have fun! smile.gif
