I believe that is a delecasy in the Philipines. I have never tried it though.

ooo i've eaten it!!! well cause i'm mostly filipino but it's so good!!! uh but i usually add a dash of salt :X
the pictures look...dry. my dad usually boils them. then, when it's finish i make a hole at the top and drink the soup ^__^. oh and you break it open at the tip of the egg...not the reallly rounded out part.

lol..u made a thread about balut hehe..i don't think i've ever really tried it cuz of the whole chick fetus thing..but we made our lil sister eat it when she was a baby haha..she's so stupid lol

I remember my uncle ate it.. T_T I saw the fetus leg slurping to his mouth .. honestly, I find it a bit disgusting. 
if you keep staring at it. The chicks .. head .. feathers .. bone .. but yeah I agree with eiskatze. Only the yellow part and the liquid I can handle. xD Hopefully, its not the fetus pee.

Im not Filipino, but I have been eating balut all my life, Chinese also eat balut
I think all asian countries eat it? Thais. Chinese, Viets, Singapore, Filipino, etc.
