I don't know how old this is(when did Garfield come out?).

but man, Jon Stewart didn't hold back at all! He basically said that no one likes Garfield these days, and that JEnnifer is a money rainbow for being in the movie(he indirectly says this by calling Bill Murray a money rainbow for being in the movie).

The shocked response of Jennifer in this video is priceless. It's like she doesn't know how to respond to such an unexpected jab.

I agree. If Jon Stewart thinks so little of Garfield, he can talk about something else related to her career.

It really made her look like a sweetheart(the way she handled it) and made Jon look like a dick.

Jon Stewart is often like this to certain political guests, but usually not to the actors who come on to promote a movie.

in general i really dislike when talk show hosts get their laughs at the expense of their guests. it's just cheap and rude. but maybe i've been desensitized to the whole thing, because i didn't find much wrong with this segment. maybe because jennifer love hewitt didn't seem to take offense. but she still managed to call him out on it, which is cool.

Well, before Jen even went on the show, did she realize that "The Daily Show" is a show that makes fun of the government? What made her, or anyone else, think that Jon was just going to kiss her butt all night? Like I said, he does whatever he can to make people feel like morons or at the very least uncomfortable.
