What mainland magazines do you buy? I don't think mainlanders are in general as into the whole beauty thing...they're not ranked at all on the list of countries with most plastic surgeries cases, and they have so much more people.

the magazine dat i use to buy is hk, i dont read mainlanders but their ads show alot of products. i dun know, i might be wrong cause im too obsessed with mainlanders and taiwanese. i do see hk have alot of beauty stuff but not much whitening stuff as mainlainders.

I'm sorta hate all the girls from Hei She Hui. They are doing the Suju thing. And all of them can't sing. :X

呱呱 reminds me of peng yu yan or something like that. ^^ He's cute. I wonder how they all become ulzzangs. xD I even heard that 0.6 has his fanclub right at the day he started his blog.

HK people are more into the diet stuffs because you go to HK, all you see around is people advertising diets.

Most of these girls are not pretty. Cute but not pretty at all; only cute in the way little boys are cute. And that one girl, "MeiMei 美眉 from Hei Se Hui," has a big fat chinaman face and momo looks like a gnome. There are prettier chinese girls then this.

It's a term my chinese friend taught me. It's like when your face is wide and round and not oval and long. You get the basic idea?

I looked at this thread a bit more and the guys look so much better then the girls. The guys are a lot prettier then the girls.

^'big fat chinaman face?' o_o; even though your chinese friend 'taught' you that its still an offensive stereotype, whether or not it applies to your friend. are you saying people with wide and round faces can't be pretty or have nicer features than people with oval and long faces? i personally find oval & long faces unattractive, looks like a horse.

i don't find meimei pretty either, though...ireally don't find any of her features attractive but her style is cute. but i don't think any of the guys are stunning either...I only like guagua & yalun. i personally find 0.6's ears and j.law's entire structure discusting. .___.

whitney is ok.. i still find janice to be my fav haha.. but most of them kinda have the same features. ok size eyes.. pointy chin.. heart shape face. you can tell the difference from china, taiwan, and hk.. well i can LOL i think i been looking at too many pics of them. i'm surprised a japanese one haven't been started.. but i think for japanese is mostly cosplay that is popular~

i agree for the most part.
The tiny little girls with frizzy hair and an overload of mascara - they're not pretty, and rarely cute. It's the fashion/style phase that they're going along with. They probably look a lot worse in real life. There are much more prettier (not to mention more natural looking) chinese girls then the ones shown here, but i guess chinese people just aren't really into the whole "uhljjang" thing. I do think Angela, Jaly, and Guigui are very pretty/charismatic nonetheless.

Personally, I think all uhljjang guys are unattractive.
They seem much too preoccupied with their appearance, not to mention they're usually short and have frail girlish figures!

I actually kind of like some of the guys here. I mean, if you actually read some of their posts in their blogs, they have interesting personalities too. About the girls, I have to agree the "cute" phase is kicking in for a lot of people. Hence, the "fob style" even in the US.
