has anyone heard of em? i always knew the teriyaki boys as the doofy asian guys decked out with bling. but in toyko drift they came out with a really catchy song its called toyko drift lol. if you havnt heard it i suggest you guys buy the sound track and take a listen its really catchy and fun =)

Yeah I listened to the album, I thought it was kinda dissapointing. Even with all the nice producers and stuff. The only song that really caught on was Chou LARGE with Pharrell from Neptunes.

Its very raw, hardcore hiphop junkies might like the style though.

yah heard them on f&f sound track.
'Tokyo Drift' isn't bad.. but when the chorus/girls sing.. OMG I go crazy.. their voices.. just want to make my head implode..

Chorus in Cho Large.. repetitive.. too much..
they're okay.

I'm not feeling their album. I'm not fond of any of the songs on it...

The only thing I listen to with Teriyaki Boyz is "Paradise Baby" with Emi Hinouchi Best song EVER!

i got their album, I was surprised that Jay-Z and Def Jam would sign a asian act, not that bad of an album.

Teriyaki Boyz are composed of Mflo's Verbal, Nigo and Wise from BAPE, and Ryo-Z and Ilmari from RIP Slyme. Their album was okay, but I'm more a fan of RIP Slyme's stuff.

Paradise Baby with Hinouchi Emi features the beat from RIP Slyme's ultra popular, #31 in 2002's Oricon top 100, Rakuen Baby.

they crack me up. their beef or chicken album isnt the best but its entertaining to listen to. plus im a verbal fan...and daft punk produced 'heartbreaker'. they have some pretty clever lyrics at times. and of course they rock BAPE like no other (esp. 06 spring/summer collection).

haha i like that tokyo drift song, but overall they're album was okay, but i can't really take them seriously and the swisha house mix on their cd was awful
