I have to get my car fixed due to car accident.
I can't afford real Honda parts from dealer... hella expensive man
so I have to choices to go with used parts (recylced) or after market parts. My mechanic told me recylced parts are better than after market but can I trust him? Is this true? Please let me know I know nothing about cars... =(=(

remanufactured products are pretty good because they are basically the oem replica made to the same specs
my dad also uses these alot when we need to replace parts like calipers and such
so far everyone's been happy with em
What parts are you looking for?

when you say remanufactured parts you mean that's recycled? I am clueless here =)
I am looking for too many parts to list them all... the accident was pretty bad. =( I got estimate from Honda dealer.... $5000 definately can't afford that and hoping that recycled parts or after market would be better.... What does "after market" mean?

remanufactured parts are factory parts that have been refurbished/repaired back to OEM specs.
recycled parts are used parts, usually bought from scrapyards.
aftermarket parts are the ones manufactured by a company to OEM specs.
in regards to body panels, i would highly advise just going with the aftermarket parts....sure, the fitment isn't OEM perfect but the price is a lot better than OEM.
if you have the time, do a bit of research...
call your local wreckers to find out the price on the parts you need, then cross-reference them with the prices for the aftermarket parts. doesn't really matter what you buy, you'll likely still have to repaint it (or paint it if the part is new).
