Hi everyone.. i'm started collecting mangas, but most of the manags i bought are the nes i already read and enjoy.

these are interesting titles and i guess were popular; would anyone recommend them?
-kitchen princess
-kouku debut
-beauty pop
-merupuri
-kyou kara maou

-moe kare (i'd love to read and buy this one but i guess it doesn't have any english publisher yet)

are there any manga that are not in the list that worth buying/owning.

Oh hmm. well. out of the 5 that you listed, i only knew 1 of them. HEES. and that's kyou kara maou. XD It's a really fun series to watch. if you can stand a TEENY BIT of shounen ai and hmm. some really really lame episodes. If yes, than it's definitely worth watching.

As for manga that's worth collecting, it depends on what type of genre u prefer.
For shoujo manga i would recommend Fruits Basket. The manga's WAY BETTER than the anime. A more completed ending and really surprising twist to the story.

For fantasy/action manga, Get Backer's not bad. Only that it's really a LITTLE too long. hees. There's about 39 volumes. Initially it may appear to be a little draggy but towards the middle it gets really GOOD. Fullmetal Alchemist is another manga that's WORTH collecting. Definitely.

Can only think of these few for now. HEES. Hope that it helps.

Can someone recommend me mangas similar to bokura ga ita?

I wouldn't say similar but I thought these manga kind of give off the same feel as bokura ga ita

I really really don't like mecha--unless the story is REALLY good...

I just finished watching Avatar and holy moly... sososososo gooood.
I'm just sad that its finished and I have no more episodes to watch.

I'm currently reading the manga, Kimi no Iru Machi and it's good! In fact, I'm a bit addicted to it. Haha!

I don't watch a lot of anime, but from what I have seen I can recommend:
Cardcaptor Sakura - There's not much romance, but it's there :] It's a really cute, sweet, and funny series. Be sure to watch the movies too!
Hakushaku to Yousei - One of my favorite animes. It's a cute fantasy/comedy/romance by the same artist as Ouran, so the art is really nice ^^

I've never watched the drama you mentioned, and I don't really know what you mean by cliche because I thought Hana Kimi was pretty original :/ But here are some good, and in my opinion, not cliche mangas:

Bokura wa Itsumo - Romance/slice of life. A very laid back story revolving around four childhood friends and their lives as students.
Kimi ni Todoke - Popular soompi thread.
Kingyo Sou - Comedy/romance/slice of life. About the relationship between a girl and a deaf person. Made me cry at some points~

Barairo My Honey - Romance/supernatural. A nice romance between a man who's inner emotions take the form of a tiger and a woman who is the only one that can tame it.
Running Through the City in the Sunset (Forest of Gray City) - Romance. About a woman who desperately rents her apartment to someone and the guy who now lives with her.
Nemunoki no Geshukusou - Romance/one-shot. Cute story about a girl who's father brings home a strange robot that obeys her every command and seems like a real boy.
Hanatsuki Hime - Romance/fantasy. About a girl with a devil's heart. The devil will reclaim his heart by the time she turn sixteen, so she sets out to find the devil.
