After watching Passion of Christ I have so many questions.

and I am just so confused, this is exactly why I stopped going to the bible studies
Anyways, I was reading about how "God created all of us perfect until Adam and Eve bit the apple"
But if we were made perfect in the first place, how did they become so weak to even listen to the snake.
And also, if everyone was perfect, where did the devil come from??
how did he even become a fallen angel if everyone was perfect???
And why was jesus born just to die??
This is where I got lost, alot of people say that the jewish people went through the holocuast because of what they did to jesus, and it makes me wonder, if that is true, was jesus born just to later on punish the jews??
Isnt it weird with the whole "What goes around comes around" thing?? why do bad things continue to happen?? what is the point?? If we are already sinned why do people talk about how sinners will never see paradise, to me it just seems like the future is taking it's course.
Is it wrong that I'm questioning god??
My grandmother was a Jehovah's witness, and she taught us alot about the religion, but I was so young and soon she passed.
But then like in 10th grade, I met my cousin who was also a JW, so I used to have bible studies with her and it said that we are not supposed to celebrate birthdays or holidays like christmas and easter.
If we celebrate any birthdays it will be Jehovah's birthday, because he is highest one, even though Jesus is his son, he is not God. but if those holidays bring people together the way we should be, why is it wrong?
No one be offended that is not my thought, that is what I was told so but I dunno.
These are questions that may not have answers, but what are ur thoughts??

Evolution is the way to go
By the way, You will get different answers from different people because they just make stuff up to make sure the bible is right no matter what.

I have no idea why Jesus died to save sinners either, I should ask the priest that one day. But I think it has something to do with sacrifice to save mankind?? I don't know really. He wasn't born only to die, He did many things while on earth. I believe He did exist on earth but maybe not exactly how the Bible wrote it.
I have gone through phases where I questioned the existence of God. I've concluded this world is too amazing to NOT have a God.

And when paradise comes we will be perfect.
Before they ate off that tree, there was no death, no aging, nuffin like that.

But in my bible it says that they were made perfect.
And when paradise comes we will be perfect.
Before they ate off that tree, there was no death, no aging, nuffin like that.
Does the bible say they were perfect? I was never taught or believed that...
I believe the place (garden I guess) was perfect, but not themselves because humans can never be perfect.

if any of us has the answers to your questions, he/she would be God. it's anyone's guess really, to the questions you posed. however, i am pretty sure of one thing: while we were created WITHOUT sin originally, we were also created with the capability of exercising FREE WILL and adam and eve exercised that free will which in turn led to their downfall.
Yeah I agree. Adam and Eve were created 'perfect' in the sense that they did not commit any sin until that damn apple.

I'm not asking for answers because I know only god can answer me,
but I'm just wondering, do people really think about these things??

Yes, I think about these things a lot. Life, death, being human ~ runs through my head a lot sometimes I can't take it lol. I wake up a lot thinking.. . "wow I'm still here. still human"

I was taught to believe that the bible meant symbolic meaning. So it wasn't nesscarily a snake that brought the fall of grace among humans, but humans themselves. We weren't made perfect, but we were made to become like God's image.
And why was jesus born just to die??

Jesus was born to die, because he's God's only son and he's God at the same time. It very hard to explain the Trinity. But God comes to humans in three forms in wisdom through the holy spirit, through a human-like image but yet divine which is Jesus, and just God up in heaven. The Jewish were blamed by Christianity way back in history with many things, like the Black Death back 1500, Christianity saying that Jewish people poisioned wells, which is not true. In my personal opinion, the Jewish people often are victimized with prejudice throughout history, so in the holocust, the people who opressed them just used them killing Jesus as an excuse to give the a permission to punish them. However, there are many way to think who killed Jesus, what I think is that humanity's sins in general killed him.
Isnt it weird with the whole "What goes around comes around" thing?? why do bad things continue to happen?? what is the point?? If we are already sinned why do people talk about how sinners will never see paradise, to me it just seems like the future is taking it's course.

Bad things continue to happen in the world so people will have compassion for one another's pain. We are humans, we are subject to wrong decisions therefore some bad result come out of it. Some people are just plain mean. That is why some things result into bad things. See...we sinned, but we will not see paradise until the savior comes and dies for our sins, that is what the Jews believe (please correct me if I'm wrong) in Christianity, our savior did come, and died for all our sins, so we can go to heaven. The whole point in this, is that even though Jews and Christians are, were sinned people, they still have to countinue being the best and most forgiving people so in the end they will find salvation. Well, in my personal opinion, it's not wrong to question God. I question religion all the time. Oh yeah, ever heard of Socrates? He would make people question what the believe in until the person realizes what the whole point of their belief.
Sorry, I can't answer the last paragrah, because I don't know alot about the Jehovah's Witness religion.
Edit// Oh dayum I didn't read replies after your post. Hmmm...maybe some Christian bibles differ from others? The best bet you can ask that question to is another Jehovah's Witness who you are sure will not be offended if you ask that question since both of you have the same bible.

God didn't create perfect human beings. He didn't want us to be perfect because he wanted us to make our own desisions that weren't prefect. if we were perfect we would have to obey every perfect little thing like robots.
Jesus Christ was sent to die for our sins because God loved us so. Jesus was God's only provision for mans' sin and he wanted us to live in eternal happiness so he sent him to die so we could live in Heaven.

Whether you believe it or not, it's much more interesting to read it and say, "Oooh, that's why" than "Huh? That doesn't make sense..."
