I have Verizon FioS. It's way faster than comcast and cheaper, but the service is available only in selected areas. Also, when they install it, they will have to make a small hole in the wall for wiring but all worth it! I got the 15/2 package for $45/month.

I have Yahoo SBC DSL. Only costing me $15 a month. smile.gif I think right now, there's the deal if you sign up online, it's $12.99. But I'm not sure if that deal is over or not yet.

don't you guys have any local cable services and not those national services?
(other than road runner, that's a VERY good service)

I've Comporium.. because thats my local phone company/internte provider.

5000kbs (some 600kBs) download speed.

but the actual quality kind of sucks because of the oldness.

As for you.. road runner is very good

I got the $12.99 deal from SBC Yahoo!. It was great and really fast for the first couple of weeks, but now it's slow as hell. It's not SBC; my brother did something to it, and now he's been calling the people at SBC for help every other day.

Edit: Woo! I fixed it! All I had to do was give my modem a rest. Now, fast as ever. smile.gif

It's pretty decent speed to me. If you want numbers and all that junk, I have no idea.

You can try Earthlink High Speed Cable, it's basically a line provided by Time Warner but under Earthlink. You're only missing out on access to newsgroups but if you have no idea what that is then you aren't missing out on much. $29.99 a month for the first 6 months and it's $41.99 afterwards.

Pricing details...

Be sure you select cable, I strongly stand behind my statement and that is..."nothing good can come from a phone line." laugh.gif

I use SBC / ATT dsl, the "high speed" one for $17.99 a month. Supposedly 1.5 to 3.0 mb download and 384 to 512 Kbps upload, but for me:

As of now:
Your download speed : 1623 kbps or 202.8 KB/sec.

Your upload speed : 420 kbps or 52.5 KB/sec.

=/

If you're really wondering how he (Tetra) looks...click; although I highly advise that you don't-- for your sake.
